German prosecutors link Nord Stream blasts to Ukraine | DW News

German prosecutors say Ukrainian authorities ordered the attack that severely damaged the Nord Stream gas pipelines in 2022. The Ukrainian government has always denied directing the sabotage.
The explosions damaged the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, which were designed to carry natural gas under the Baltic Sea, from Russia to Germany. The blasts, near the Danish island of Bornholm, caused huge amounts of gas to leak into the sea.
German prosecutors have filed charges against a Ukrainian national over the blasts. The suspect, a Ukrainian former army officer – identified under German privacy laws only as Serhii K. – denies wrongdoing.
DW looks into what the new charges could mean for relations between Ukraine and Germany.

    1. How convenient to blame Ukraine. Who gave the technology, expertise and training for this terrorist attack? Who has been selling their gas to Europe since? Russia didn’t make Europe dependent on their fuel. Europeans are responsible for their own dependency problems.

    2. Se for verdade tem que haver consequências rápidas!

    3. Sorry to say but the german prosecutor is probably incompetent or is on a fishing expedition.
Russia turned off the gas. Russia was not earning anything, instead it was accruing them non-delivery penalties which in principle would have led Gazprom to bankruptcy.
If Ukraine did this, they shot themselves in the foot.

    4. If it actually was the Ukrainans, I salute them! Well done! This piece of s*** should never have been allowed to be built in the first place!

    5. Ukraine had all the right to do it. If Germans want to investigate something then investigate Schroeders corruption case.

    6. Took so long to reveal?

      US trains UA
      UA blows it up.

US and UA puts the blames on RU.
      EU hates RU even more.
EU moves bilions more to UA.
UA launders the money, keeps the war going.
US sells more weapons. Benefits from the war.
RU also suffer but yet builds even better military and tests their weapons.
People around the world become poorer as a result. Particularly energy prices going up in EU hits the EU citizens the hardest.
Lots of youth lose their life in RU and UA. Families destroyed.
DE will still continue supporting UA despite this. DE would do otherwise to any other country if it was them.

    7. Ukraine let down Poland first; and now Germans.
I am sure the tax payer of these countries will not appreciate such behaviour; and their leaders will receive a big message at the time of elections for wasting their taxes.

    8. Are the Germans really going to destroy the EU support for Uk? The fact that they dont supply any weapons that could help Uk is telling. Whose side are you on?

    9. Here you have it—the truth, finally. You beloved, corrupt Ukraine. I hope you all pay the price for your stupidity, and you're all going to pay. Mark my words.
