Dairyland asking for history of drivers license from over 20 years ago.

Dairyland raised the rate they quoted me because they couldnt find drivers license history.

Currently have NC license issued in Dec 2025.

Had CA license from 2021-2025. No issues. They have that info.

Had OH license from 2014-2021. I have a scanned image of my OH license from back then but the OH BMV does not go back that far for records.

Had VA license from 1995/6-2014. Talked to VA DMV and they have no history of me back that far. They only go like 5-7 years back. So there is no proof I was licensed as a kid to an adult there.

They are saying if they dont get proof that they will not give me the discounts for length of driving history. I am confused. I thought these companies could pull all this info. Apparently not. But if the government wanted to get that info, they could probably. I am currently trying all avenues to ask if someone from my time in VA has a copy of my license.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I dont know how I get that info if the VA DMV HQ even says they dont have it.
