Can they really do worse than the hyper processed dog food that is currently Wendy’s?

    2. In my lifetime I have watched Checkers, Burger King, Wendy’s, KFC, and Taco Bell go from heavily frequented establishments to ghost towns. I am not sure why they refused to maintain their buildings over the years but it is a pretty simple formula that lead to their fall. The buildings started to get run down, they didn’t update so it just felt less inviting from a customer standpoint. If your building looks like shit then I can’t trust your food prep, and if I can trust that then I won’t eat at your establishment. This lead to less people in line and I 100% will not eat at a fast food place that looks like they are slow all the time. I immediately assume you are driving profit by extending the life of your inventory and I want no part of it. At that point, your business is fucked.

I still drive past checkers and Burger King and really would love to grab something off their delicious menu but I refuse to be what may be the only customer they have had in days. I would love to know why these franchises at no point in the height of their success felt like maintaining and updating their building was necessary.

I woke up and didn’t know what the spike was all about but sold 3/4 of my leveraged position. Then I found out it was a private take over bid and decided to sell entire position. If it spiked 10% with no news I would have held. If it spiked 10% with better news I would have held. But for a private placement bid? Nah. All it takes is for news that the private bid is cancelled and stock tanks again. O7 thank you for the noticeable bump in my stock accounts.

Went there last night and the food was surprisingly decent at the one near my house. Tasted like it did 10 years ago when it was actually good. No Dr. Pepper though.
