I bought a 2L of a lemonade soda drink I drunk it twice and it gave me a stomaches.

Any suggestions what to do with the remaining??

I hate and don't like to waste food in general.

Please avoid the following suggestions as I won't o can't do them like :

    • don't suggest cooking with it.
Or give it to someone who may not have your allergies symptoms

I hope you are having a good time and/day man or woman you are.

Put into an ice cube tray and freeze it. Put a couple frozen cubes into your next cup of cold water, and see if you can tolerate it that way, glass of cold water with a very diluted sweet lemon tang.

I think you gotta toss it.

You dont want to drink it or give it to someone else who’ll drink it, you dont want to cook with it.

Watering plants? Have a party and use it in other people’s cocktails (I suggest maybe a sweet tea liquor? A boozy bubbly Arnold Palmer sounds good).

I know you said dont cook with it, but maybe cook with it for the bubbles. Like in a tempura batter.

Why not give away on one of those buy nothing pages? I’ve seen all kinds of food stuffs on there. Including, “hey I’m going out of town and here’s a bunch of open items from my fridge” and people are lining up for it.

Personally, I’m a lot more forgiving with myself for throwing out food/drink that isn’t healthy. Doubly so when it’s not healthy nor tasty. Put some vodka with it or toss it.

    5. Trying it was the goal. Mission accomplished. It has served its purpose and the remainder should be shared with the earth via your kitchen sink drain. There is no waste- the sugar will feed microbes in the ecosystem, and the water will return to the water cycle. You can recycle the bottle it came it.

You could potentially use it as a gentle cleaning product, because the citric acid that is probably the main flavoring ingredient can loosen up mineral deposits. But honestly the sugar in it will just leave a sticky mess, so I wouldn’t bother. If you don’t want to consume it in some form, or give it to someone else, then I would just dump it down the drain.

Just bin it, its good to be frugal but as with everything in life moderation is important. The approach you are taking here isn’t healthy. All the best 🙂
