My mom is having heated arguments with my dad over their new insurance policy with Lemonade. She says she has no more privacy when driving, and my dad wants to save money as theyre old and drive sparingly with this new Lemonade insurance policy. My dad said the app sends data to him on where the car had been, and my mom hates it (OBD2 trackers in the car). Im not sure to what extent Lemonade shares the information on trips and how accurate it is, but does the app share the exact location of the cars and where they went etc.? Or is the data vague and non invasive?
Does milage tracking insurance like Lemonade send location data to the account holder?

I’ve never had Lemonade but I had another tracking device (either USAA or Progressive) and it does track every trip. It shows the start & stop points, dates, times and then any infractions you had during that trip.
