Over the past few months, it seems like Helium and their HNT token have been taking a couple steps backward instead of moving forwards like we had hoped. Now, with the introduction of HIP 70, Helium could be set to move onto the Solana (SOL) blockchain, with the added benefit of more coins for miners! Current mining farms with GPU exposure are also now seeking alternative mining avenues due to the Ethereum Merge, which is set to take place in just a few days! Mining Ethereum (ETH) will no longer be viable, as the chain seeks to move to Proof of Stake, away from Proof of Work.
