They also culled waaay too many female babies so now they are in trouble. also because they don't have any vaccines that work against civid they are still locking down in a huge way. It is destroying they ability to run factories, they have lost income. They have been hoarding gold, but the other factors have destroyed their ability to produce. Their population is aging faster that any country we have records for ever. They already ended "one child", but it's too late. They can't recover and their population will fall by half by 2050.
