Energy organisation OPEC has agreed to the biggest cut in oil production since before the pandemic.

Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Nielsen says OPEC has justified this decision by saying it’s necessary to try to curb global increases in prices.

The countries in OPEC represent about 40 per cent of oil production globally.

OPEC has decided to cut oil production by around two million barrels per day in November, with much of it being taken out of Russian production.

    1. Hmmm … Biden wants more foreign oil (to help HIM) when he could be allowing a free market (domestic production, to help AMERICANS) while he continues on his lunatic WEF agenda to hurt ALL, except a very few. If successful, Biden and gang will put OPEC OUT of business. Don’t be surprised, Brandon … even the WEF doesn’t like you, but you’re a useful idiot for now.

    2. Does the whole America need to go bankrupt to understand that green energy is unrealistic and u need to produce your own oil America foe God sake what's biden gonna so when the straijec petroleum reserves are empty these are peoples livleyhoods your playing with

    3. Canada has plenty of blood free oil. The problem is, Trudeau and Biden H8 western Canada more than they dislike bloody wars.
Edit, natural gas (methane) as well.

    4. Energy cartel … 😂😂… US leadership and there media either out of sense of stupid .. when things not going there way or when any countries not obey there order then they are US enemy… but US news channel forget that there President Biden failed to save Europe as his country from high energy price rise and filed to isolate Russia.. they still have power to control energy issues..and Russia is a biggest partner of OPEC..

    5. Time is coming… just like every other European countries leaders who actually going through sanctions are gone or lost there seat .. now it’s time for the Biden to go…

    6. Not sure why Biden is upset that they cut 2 million barrels per day. Seems to me that OPEC+ just made a decision to help hinder climate change. Why would anyone be upset with that? Everything has a price, even clean air. Careful what you wish for Joe, you may get what you want.

    7. USA still remains with its old imperial mindset so it is losing its hegemony to manage the current highly volatile global political landscape. Arrogance and crisis incubation does not work.

    8. The United States has always been disrespectful to OPEC countries. Therefore, you should not expect that these countries will now begin to save the US economy. Especially after the explosions of the Nord Stream, after which it became clear that the United States can always deliver a deadly blow even to loyal allies.
