I think the reason they smashed Kraken Is because they did not require KYC to stake for U.S. customers.
I REALLY hope they don't restrict staking. It's the most attractive part of the whole space for me personally.

How will this affect staking on the on cardano network
There’s no risk in staking over simply holding the asset itself. This is not like lending services offered on Celsius and voyager.
This is simply protecting banks from going out of business from technology leaving banks in the past. Pure corruption.

Rob I still would like to talk one on one with you… I would love to share my experience with a self custody Roth IRA and staking… You are 100% correct folks should not store on exchanges but for me that includes not on iTrustCapital. My experience with the self custody Roth has been a good one and its definitely worth taking a look for serious crypto investor.
Let me guess, accredited investors will be able to stake but not the rest of us.
It sounds like SEC is only going after staking where you give someone else custody of your tokens and expect a return. Which blockchains can you stake without giving up custody?
