You think the SEC changing direction, adapting their regulatory approach prudently with the provision of new verified information, is indicative of being "wrong" ??? lol
Sure, you could argue the SEC has been slow, even reluctant to act, but "wrong" because it hasn't suited yours, or any other crypto bro's timetable for change? lol that's silly, like a child desperate to open its presents complaining that christmas won't come soon enough.
To state the obvious, the SEC is by definition conservative, cautious. It is not a high risk taking market speculator, it's a regulatory authority.
Characterising it as "wrong" tells me more about your political biases than the SEC's. Personally, I think both are problematic, but at least the SEC is consistent in its approach to protecting status quo/legacy capital interests and the economic systems they rely on. However, I do find it perplexing that a "conservative regulatory approach" only ever seems to be an issue, with people like you, when the democrats are in office? 🤔Again, I think both (major parties in this instance) are problematic, in no small part for the partisan hackery and blatant hypocrisy their political kabuki theatre inspires.
