You say XRP doesnt move by itself, it needs the market to move also. But you're looking solely at the XRP chart.
Other charts are not quite ready to move.

Also, look at the range for XRP between April 2017 and Dec 2017and compare it to now. Identical. But with a few weeks extra to go.
