Shiba Inu continues to soar after Elon Musk tweeted about his puppy. The SHIB token has risen more than 70% in the past 24 hours and has become the 12th-biggest cryptocurrency by market value. The move comes days after Musk tweeted a picture of his puppy, Floki, which shows Elon Musk promotes Shiba Inu Coin, and its price will hit $0.1 soon.
CoinGape reported that the Shiba Inu rally kept roaring into the mid-week session, where it entered the top 20 and closed in on the top ten. The self-proclaimed Dogecoin killer boasts a $15.5 billion market up, elevated it to the 12th spot in the market.
Talking about Elon Musk promoting Shiba Inu Coin, CoinGape stated that Shiba Inu Started its journey to the moon aboard a spaceship crafted by Elon Musk. Then, the billionaire and CEO of Tesla posted a picture of his pet Floki, a Shiba Inu. A reaction to that picture, Shiba Inu’s price began rocking upward, first deleting a zero and subsequently exploding to $0.000035.
As per the CoinGape report about the Shiba Inu price surge, Shiba Inu has carried its bullish momentum for three days now, rising over 350% over the past week. The altcoin’s bullish surge helped it to first break into top-20, and earlier today, it briefly rose to the 12th spot leaving behind many stable coins. SHIB price rose to a daily high of $0.0000346 after rising 0ver 50% for the day, CoinGape added in the report.
Fxleaders stated the Shiba Inu Coin rise story as SHIB managed to remove a zero from its price over the past week amid a mammoth three-digit rally and looking at the third consecutive day of double-digit gains. However, the altcoin is only 24% short of its all-time high of $0.0000388, breaking which it could enter a price discovery mode and might delete another zero from its price in the coming week, Fxleaders experts predicted.
According to CoinGecko, from the top 5 meme coins, Shiba Inu has been the best performer over the last week, with its price surging 400% from a low of $0.00000700 on October 4 to a multi-month high at $0.0003529 on October 6.
