I tried it a couple years back but found the consistency and taste revolting so I just stuck to shakes for my dairy intake. But with my new job I’m not allowed eat out and and the microwaves my job provides are gross and janky so I needed to figure out a cold food where I could use ice packs.
Gave overnights one more try with much better tasting ingredients and the crazy part is it keeps me full for about 12 hrs which is a huge benefit since I work 16s a couple days out the week. Glad I gave overnights oats a second chance. Saves money, satiating, and so easy to prep.
Overnight oats is a game changer and I’m glad I’ve incorporated it into my diet.

Chia pudding will blow your mind.
Okay overnight oats sales rep
What ingredient changes, please?
Agree, every morning. I use muesli, almond milk, cinnamon protein powder and greek yogurt. Easy, fast and healthy.
Like you, I love oats and find them so satisfying, but I just can’t do cold oats.
I still wanted to save money and batch cook breakfasts when I had to work in the office. I’d do steel cut oats in the slow cooker overnight, then portion it out for the week and reheat at the office.
Lol you just adding ice cream my guy? I’ll bet it’s good
I’m sure you can’t be specific but what kind of job tell you you “can’t” eat out for lunch?
Oats are a staple and they’re packed with health benefits. Plus, customizing options are endless. They are a daily in my house.
They make great soaps for sensitive skin as well.
You can also make instant oatmeal by throwing rolled oats, nuts, dried up fruits, etc. in the blender. Instant oatmeal is then easily cooked by adding boiling water, making it easier to prepare when you’re on the go.
I blend mine to help with the texture part, love it
I’m sorry I just bought oats the other day and haven’t figured out how to cook them yet. You use dairy?
