everybody knows that making your own coffee won't get you a Lamborghini. with that being said, I do attribute my ability to invest in some home improvement projects on my lifestyle. I had been thinking about solar panels for a while, but when I heard the federal incentives are going away at the end of the year in the US, I was able to buy a solar system outright instead of financing it. if you believe the statistics, most Americans just don't have the savings needed to pull something like that off.

I had a similar moment when I realized my small daily savings added up enough to redo my kitchen without debt. at first it felt slow and pointless, but when the time came, I was ready instead of scrambling. that’s when I learned frugality isn’t about sacrifice, it’s about being prepared for opportunities.
Solar power win! Excellent!!!!
I bought a house last year that needs a lot of maintenance. I just fixed all the plumbing oddities. Next is chimney repair, soon. I don’t think these repairs would be happening if I hadn’t cancelled Amazon and subscriptions awhile ago, plus other frugal changes. So glad, because I much prefer knocking out these house repairs! So much progress, all with cash I wouldn’t have had!
