We seriously need an organized labor strike. That’s the only way I see any progress happening any time soon. All the online platforms will ensure any attempt to organize this is at the very least shadow banned so we need to start finding methods to communicate IRL like the old days.

    2. Dewey called himself a classical liberal… which is a FAR cry from what we call ‘liberals’ today. He was focused on democratic accountability and checking monopolies, not pushing modern progressive policies

    3. He was actually mostly incorrect.

Once we got to the point that most of “the people” owned land they realized they could create a cartel to artificially increase the price of their land and become wildly wealthy off real estate speculation

    4. He’s not a liberal in the traditional sense of the word or the modern usage of classical liberal.

He may have had some overlap in general with some of the foundational classical liberal ideas but he was much closer to the leftist progressive verging on Democratic socialist side of things.

In the future the top commodity will be intelligence. Hope USA and all Americans can benefit from the advances that will be coming from AI.

    6. The statement sounds to me much more like it is promoting socialism and not liberalism.

The problem is that “liberal” has become meaningless because of the different contexts where it is used.

      Margaret Thatcher was a liberal.

Capitalists often use “Liberal” to explain that they can do whatever they want with their money.

      Dewey was an anti-capitalist.
