We’ve all seen blockchain applied to money. Now governments and hospitals want to use it for identity.
Why?
- Governments: cut fraud, digitize passports, speed up services
- Healthcare: unified patient records, faster emergency access, stronger privacy
- Citizens: one ID instead of dozens of logins and papers
My issue → trust. If your government ran a blockchain ID system, would you believe it’s truly yours? Or is this just surveillance on steroids with a shiny label?
👉 What do you think? Does blockchain identity help adoption, or does it kill the whole idea of decentralization?
Blockchain IDs are coming but can governments be trusted?
