Americans wanted to put America first, so I hope they have the day they voted (or didn’t vote) for…because they’re getting what they asked for. Zero sympathy from Canada. Trump isn’t the hero America needed, but he’s the one they deserve.

I used to buy a lot of things this (de minimis) way. For the electronics hobbyist, the crafter, and many other fields this is doom. US companies don’t stock this stuff anymore, or they don’t deal with hobby quantities, or the prices they charge are platinum plated. Radio Shack is long dead.
The last thing I bought, recently, a bell pepper corer. The cost was ridiculous. They flew it in. It took several weeks. No more of that for us.

I have a package en route from the Czech Republic, sent before any of these changes were announced. The day they put the CZ suspension in place, my package had already left the CZ postal system. Usually packages from CZ take 48 hours from leaving their postal system until being scanned in the US. It’s been 5+ days for me with no movement. I’m out hundreds of dollars while waiting in limbo on specialized, proprietary medical device equipment that’s only available from the vendor who is based CZ. Just me and hundreds of thousands of others who are also in limbo with their postal packages. Logistical nightmare.
