Help! What to do if my 2021 tax transcript didn’t update my $1,400 payment?

I first tried to repay my $1400 in money order to the IRS and the address was invalid, so it got returned to me. I browsed through lots of posts and ended up forwarding the mail to IRS Fresno Refund Inquiry Unit based on my residential state. I’ve contacted them a while back and they said they received it. However, I still do not see my 2021 transcript updated. It is still accumulating penalty and interest to this day. What do I do?!

I got the letter in June but didn’t really mail them out until July and August and I forgot to check the transcript from time to time. The interest and penalty are a lot:/
