Anyone else getting stuck with an UltraTax sales rep who just can’t answer things clearly?
Mine feels super slow and confusing…
I asked her what “year” means in the contract. Calendar year from signing, or their tax year ending in April (She once said their “year” ends in April no matter when you sign, but couldn’t explain it)?
For example, I’m signing in October, so if the proposal says “tax season 2025, 2026, 2027,” does the first year end April 2025 or April 2026?
After 3-4 emails back and forth, I still don’t have a straight answer and the proposal doesn’t clarify it…

If it’s any consolation, I’m an UltraTax user and can’t answer your question.
Try asking whether Year 1 means software to prepare 2025 returns, or 2026.
