I’m unsure if this is too complex of a question but I wanted to ask either way in case someone knows. I recently had tried selling call credit spreads on AGQ and got blown out by the silver pump. I closed it Friday for a decent sized loss. If i decided to just sell short shares of SLV on Monday (because I still believe it’s due for a big correction) will the call spreads I sold for a loss be considered a wash sale now or no because AGQ is a different security but they still both are related to silver? ChatGPT seems to think i would be safe but I wanted to see if I could hopefully get more feedback
