Partner is Moving In Early 2026 – Will be paying me ren… Reimbursing me for expenses

Partner will pay about half of the market rate in rent to me, in the form of uhhh

reimbursing me for home expenses

Trash, wifi, insurance, gas, electricity, water, automobile maintenance (the parts only), and, if a hot water heater craps out or something, yeah

Do I need to document anything? Or just get the cash and throw it into my brokerage every month, I have a spreadsheet of 12 month average of utilities, groceries, etc to justify the rate we agreed on
