I want to pay my own taxes this year. How can I go about this?

In past years, my father helped me with completing my taxes. I am at the age where I definitely need to be filing taxes independently.

This year, I worked a W2 job from January to February and received severance which was taxed heavily, as well as sign-on bonus, which was taxed excessively, in my estimation.

I did part-time work for a family business during the summer and autumn, and I worked a W2 job in November and December. I also have a minor amount of dividend and interest income from my brokerage and HYSA.

How can I go about this? Should it be simple to complete independently through downloading H&R Block?
