Recently started new job, and accidentally put my wife as domestic partner instead of spouse. I have her under my medical insurance only and our kids under my full health insurance plan. I contacted HR and my insurance to correct my mess up and it’s been resolved.

Will this much still be taken out of future checks, do I have to wait until open enrollment for it to change, or will it adjust accordingly after a certain time period?
Did I mess up my onboarding paperwork?
