For anyone out there hoping to get their refund relatively quickly this year. I just wanted to share that my refund was approved today 2/5. I filed using TurboTax for the first time and it was completely free. Initially H&R Block wanted to charge me over $100 to have my refund direct deposited. My return was acceped 2/1 and is now estimated to be direct deposited by 2/9. I filed as head of household (no longer a qualified widower.) and I have 4 dependents. I usually have to wait a couple of weeks at the very least. Idk how the IRS is moving so fast this year, but I'm definitely not complaining.
