This will be my first time doing taxes. Will i need to state how much money is in my bank account to be able to file it? I've had some expensive college bills i paid recently that i didn't want to tell my family about as to not burden them, but since my father is going to help me do my taxes I'm worried they'll need to know how much i have in my bank account and he'll find out. Thanks for any help, I have a tendency to worry haha

No, your tax return doesn’t list your bank balance

None of your tax related documents should either. The exception might be a 1099 from a brokerage account but it doesn’t sound like that applies

No, you enter the tax info not how much you have in the bank. The only bank related I fo you’d be adding (aside from tax docs you received from banks) would be your account and routing information where you’d want your refund to hit (unless you owe).
