Is it better to save your money and buy a lower premium full ounce sized American Gold Eagle or to buy a fractional AGE each month instead.
As a gold stacker there’s a tradeoff to buying gold at the lowest premium versus buying smaller gold coins but on a more frequent basis. If you are buying gold as a hedge against inflation, it is a great strategy to buy gold consistently over many years, but what size gold should you buy?
I look at ten years of historical gold spot price data and known gold coin prices, to compare whether it is better long term to have a single gold ounce coin each year, or ten smaller 1/10 ounce gold coins each year.
