I'm very curious about how this works because I'd already known somewhat about the US forever taxing who move out of the country and even obtaining citizenship from elsewhere.
Then some years back this very issue arose about a guy who was born in the US but grew up exclusively in the UK, and there it made national headlines because he's well-known anyway. I think he was able to bring suit to get out of it.
I'm just curious to hear from those who've exactly with living abroad, especially permanently, and still paying uncle sam. Amy tips for those who might be looking to jump ship?
