Did you send via Certified Mail? Or have some sort of tracking? Last year, it took months for the return to even get processes by the IRS. It just sat in Missouri according to tracking for months. As I recall last year, they finally processed as received in June. So, I would expect a long time. You can check the IRS’s transcript service to see if they have received and processed the return and what the refund status is.
