Passport and Unfiled Taxes (3 years back)

Hello!

So Ive been dealing with health issues since covid happened and Im behind on my taxes. I filed for last year, didn't make enough to file in 2024 but now I need to take care of 2021, 2022, and 2023. I have an appointment set up so Im all good there.

But will my history of unfiled taxes prevent me from getting a passport? I never make over 40k a year and I was always compliant up until my health declined after covid.
I heard that people only get denied if their tax debt is labeled as seriously delinquent so I suppose Im just posting here to ease my mind!
