If you received a 1095-A (you were on Obamacare for health insurance during 2025), then you are required to file…to avoid penalty for not. The filing is to reconcile your ACA insurance payments. Am sorry about your being unemployed…but don’t confuse not making money/having income as the only reason to file a return.
