Looking likely to maintain, unlike the initial spike at the start of March, without quick de-escalation.

Pretty sure spikes within that are getting smoothed out, but I’m sure we’re gonna beat that spike.

    2. Nominally? Yes.

Inflation adjusted, $116 in 2022 is around $130 in 2026. I am sure we will break through the inflation-adjusted price soon, though.

    3. Yeah, I just saw that. I’m glad I’m retired and don’t go anywhere. I feel sorry for my daughter, her husband and all the people younger than me.

    4. Can someone help explain something to me: I’m seeing reports that physical crude is selling for close to $150 today/recent days. Given that April futures contracts in March (when the initial spike happened) were around $100, does that mean those who bought at that time for $100 could have received delivery of those barrels at that price today instead of paying the $150?

If so, why didn’t almost every government or big buyer load up on supply for April? Wondering if I’m missing something
