Hi,
We’ve recently been involved in a car accident where we had two car seats in the car, I’ve started the claim with my insurance company but they are only willing to refund £300 of the total costs. Both car seats were close to £900.
My insurance have suggested that I could contact the third parties insurance and request that they cover the difference, as insurance companies have been known to do this in the past.
Has anyone had any experience with this? / any other advice on how to proceed would be grand

Why not use your homeowners insurance? I’ve been in the industry 35 years. Contents are not covered. You can also send them in for an exchange. Most manufacturers want them back to check for my flaws.
