I love coffee and have had a locally fresh-roasted bean subscription for years. Economic reality being what it is, I can't justify beans that cost ~$7/100 grams anymore. I'm looking at grocery store type stuff that's like $3/100 grams. I know it will taste different, so what are your recs for decent cheap coffee beans? I'm in Canada, don't have access to Costco, and don't like Starbucks. Thanks in advance!
Best cheap coffee bean recs for home brewing?

I drink kicking horse, which I can often find on sale for $15 for 450 g, so slightly more than the $3 per 100g you mention. I like the taste
Biggest upgrade for cheap beans is grinding fresh. Makes a bigger difference than the brand itself in most cases
