    1. I looked very seriously at becoming an energy auditor for homes when this program first started out.

      By the time I did all my research, got to know some contractors and started to put together a business plan, the program was already at risk of running out of money and the govt that put it together was doing poorly in the polls.

      So… I didn’t bother pursuing it.

      My cousin who was doing it pivotted to farm solar installs and did a few… until that govt fell and the conservatives killed the program supporting that initiative too.

      There needs to be bipartisan long term programs like these guys discuss.

      A green infrastructure bank that finances these projects and administers grants is likely the only way this type of program will work.
