How do you deal with no parental support

I’m not talking about the financial side, but more the mental. Like growing up all my friend’s parents made college funds. Being the only one I personally know who doesn’t have any external support is very demoralizing. I’m not trying to play the victim or anything, I understand parents have no objective obligation to support their kids higher education. I just wanna stop feeling pity for myself. So, how have you guys dealt with it?
