Day 45 of this war and it’s just getting stupider. Iran was already charging a crazy toll tax on ships, which was making oil expensive. But at least some ships were paying up and moving, so the market had a little bit of peace.

But now? The US has started a full blockade and killed whatever hope we had. They basically shut down the only way out. Iran is taking "tax" and the US is closing the door. It’s a double attack on our pockets.

The thing is, Israel has been bombing Gaza and Lebanon for 3 years now, and somehow they never run out of cash because the US keeps funding them. Meanwhile, our gas prices are hitting the moon.

by blocking everything, the US has basically snatched the food away from regular people. Everything is going to get so expensive now. What do you guys think about this mess? Is it just me or is this properly messed up?

Real economy will get trashed. But Wall Street will stay irrational and decoupled from the economy because big tech earnings are still A-Okay on paper. Then after another quarter or so, they’ll start crashing because, energy prices rising actually makes running every and any business more expensive, hence nobody’s balance sheets will improve like their past “guidance” suggest… except oil companies.

Kinda hilarious that all the major investment banks in called a “market bottom” almost simultaneously yesterday. Everyone in that industry is a clown imo. Always on the next shill.

Yeah I mean, the toll was never gonna fly even temporarily lol. The real problem is that Trump thought this war would be a cakewalk and never spent even 5 seconds considering the potential consequences if it wasn’t.

Now he’s stuck with it and so are we. Its almost as if elections have real consequences whether you vote or not and this is a lesson that a good chunk of Americans are going to have to learn the hard way.

Elect a clown don’t act surprised when you get a (very expensive) circus.
