When I first got into Bitcoin, I thought I understood it.

I knew how to buy it, send it, use exchanges, and follow the price.

But if someone asked me to clearly explain how it actually works, I probably couldn’t.

Things like what a wallet really is, what a private key actually represents, or what’s really happening when you send Bitcoin.

I kind of knew the terms, but not in a way where everything connected.

I ended up reading Crypto for Dummies: A Beginner’s Guide to Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Not Losing Your Mind (or Your Money), mostly to fill that gap.

I expected it to be very basic, but it actually helped more than I thought.

What it does well is explain the fundamentals in a simple way without skipping the important parts. It connects things like wallets, keys, transactions, and the blockchain so it feels like one system instead of random concepts.

After that, a lot of things started making more sense.

Not just how to use Bitcoin, but what’s actually happening behind the scenes.

It didn’t make me an expert or anything, but I feel way less confused about what I’m doing now.

If you’re new to Bitcoin and feel like you understand bits and pieces but not the full picture, I’d actually recommend this book as a starting point.

This book made Bitcoin finally make sense to me
