1100$ in per diem paid. 2400$ paid for my PPM. It costed me 3900$ to move. 1700$ worth of weight. Can someone explain how I lost 1500$ moving? Rumor is they don’t pay for your U-Haul rental that costed me 3300$??? Are you saying they don’t reimburse my uhual? Who would ever move their own stuff if they don’t reimburse uhual expenses? Without committing fraud to bump up your weight how does Anyone think this is a good idea? I did it for the road trip aspect it was fun to drive cross country. This is for separation move.

PPM DID I JUST LOOSE MONEY?

How much weight were you moving and how far did you go? It’s not normal to lose money doing this, supposedly the reimbursement have gone down lately but I haven’t heard of anyone else losing money .

It sounds like you didnt have enough weight to offset tbe initial cost of the moving co. charges.

Your entitlement is based on your weight and distance. TMO could have given you an estimate.

cost not costed. Did you ask TMO to explain how much you were getting paid and why? Have you looked at the JTR? It shows how much weight is allowed by rank.
$3,300 is a lot for a U-Haul. How many days did you have the truck? Did you get a military discount applied to your contract? Or compare other truck rental companies like Penske to see how much that would have been?
