Hello I have a question I have 102k of student loan debt 57k with federal loan . I’m disabled though the ssa and I was wondering if Sallie Mae forgives my other half of my private loan can I return back to work or school in the future ? Is it the same 3 year waiting period like TPD? I tired to call the call center but they don’t have a clue.

I don’t believe private loans have a disability forgiveness program.
TPD discharge are for federal loans only.
