Hi everyone! 25M, NYC, 100k+ income. Relatively new to the game, I would appreciate your feedback on potential travel card I can open to complete my setup.
Current credit card set up
– Citi Custom Cash, $7600 limit, October 2025
– BofA CCR, $5400 limit, October 2025
– Citi Double Cash, $8000 limit, March 2026
– Amex BCP, $7600 limit, April 13th, 2026
– Paypal 5% DC
(those are the only card I have ever applied for)
Of note, I also (still) have TD Bank credit card, which was the only card I ever had until last year, $8300 limit, November 2019. But, this March I received a letter that I got demarketed (for no reason, even the branch managers were shocked, but that's another story), so they will close my oldest credit card account on April 17th.
That's why I'm in a little rush to complete the setup, while I have good approval odds and standing.
Credit score – FICO Experian score 781.
Never missed a payment, perfect standing.
Credit utilization 4-7%.
Oldest account age – 6y3m (for now lol)
Groceries, Streaming – 6% Amex BCP
Online Shopping – 6% BofA CCR
Dining – 5% Citi CC
Gas – 5% Paypal DC
Transit – 3% Amex BCP
Catch-all – 2% Citi DC
Need a card specifically for travel spending. I do a lot of road trips, domestic flights 1x/year, international flights 1x/year.
I am currently undecided between:
– Citi Strata Premier ($95 af, 10x on their portal, and 3x on other travel)
– WF Autograph Journey ($95 af, 5x & 4x direct hotels and flights, 3x other travel)
– Venture X ($395 af, 10x & 5x flights through portal, 2x catch all)
Or Autograph for uncapped 3% cashback. Also, I book a lot through Expedia, so their no AF One Key Card is attractive.
Open to any other suggestions. Thank you!

Since you already have the Citi Double Cash and Custom Cash, I’d probably look at a Strata Premier if you fly American Airlines.
