I was in a not at fault accident and signed POA forms to release the car. I have not had a vehicle in about month post accident and I was told a rental would no longer be covered as the check was mailed. How long does this take? Anyone have experience with a joint check as my Dad co-signed so he has to sign the check. He lives out of state. I am super stressed as I am in my last semester of school and no longer have a rental.

If the check was mailed you should have it tomorrow or Friday.
You’ll have to express mail the check to your Dad for his signature.
Meantime, you’re just going to have to pay for a rental car yourself. That may be a problem if you are under 25. But there are companies that do it. Google it.
