I have taken out loans for grad school and now I owe over $120K in student loan debt. I just feel overwhelmed and full of regret for even pursuing a masters degree. I am currently enrolled in an IDR plan but the payments seem pretty high on top of having to pay rent and for other basic necessities. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I am at a total loss. I feel very trapped..

Advice depends on your expected income. What do you expect to make?
What’s your job? How much do you make?
First, make sure your servicer has your income right for the IDR recert, a lot of people overpay because their AGI or family size wasn’t updated. Look into SAVE if you’re not already on it, and see if you qualify for any PSLF route or employer repayment benefits. Side note, I found decent remote admin and support roles to pad income through wfhalert, it just emails out verified listings so you’re not wading through scammy posts. It’s not a magic fix, but an extra few hundred a month can take the edge off while you stabilize
