I got my first Amex and I’m just wondering for the people who already have the card what you like about it? Do you utilize anything else in the Amex eco system ? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Despite the majority hating on this card/having no use for it, I think it has solid multipliers if you want to get into the MR ecosystem.
The charge card setup actually forces you to stay on top of your spending which has been great for my budgeting – plus the customer service is legit when you need to dispute something.
I used my Green card for years, and I loved the simplicity of it. The CLEAR credit meant the card paid me to carry it, and I got 3 points for dining, travel, and transit and 1 point for everything else. Before getting into optimizing, it was my primary card and some months I would put tens of thousands of reimbursable work spend on it.
I have the BCP and I’ve liked the Amex offers. I’ve been able to redeem more offers on Amex than Capital One or Citi. But your mileage may vary.
I have the green purely for the 60k sub. Dumping it on renewal.
I’ll see if i can get retention offers that can offset the fee
If you’re serious about MR, look also at the Blue Business Plus.
If you value CLEAR and the Green is the only card you have for CLEAR, then I think it’s a good card. Otherwise, not considering the welcome or retention offers, you have to put quite a large amount of spend to beat the annual fee + opportunity cost of using a lower effective annual fee card.
The Amex Green is criticized a lot on the internet but it’s a great card IMO. 3X general travel & dining is valuable. Plus Amex Offers, travel protections, and good partners makes it keeper IMO.
