I have a 30 year old $3,000 Federal Student Loan In default! Does anyone know a way to qualify for Financial Aid without paying the loan off. It’s already a consolidated loan so I can’t consolidate it! The rep said I don’t qualify to make 6-9 payments then reapply, however he couldn’t tell me why.

If you e never rehabbed before you should be able to. But until 2027 you can only rehab once
