2020 I made ~100k, halfway through the year my life exploded starting with a major surgery that put me in the hospital for a month and left me bedridden for another 6 months

I couldn't make money during this time and I lost my job, I spent the remainder of my savings on food, rent & hospital bills (I tried to get out of my rent due to my circumstances but they said I couldn't).

I became homeless and have made next to nothing since then and my current tax situation seems like an impassable mountain due to the debt from 2020 multiplying. Is there any normal way of handling situations like mine that doesn't leave me forever in debt?

Is there anyway to properly deal with my situation
