I see a lot of comments on the news today about Iran closing the Strait saying, "Well, it looks like Trump and his family have shorted the market again!"
In the film Margin Call (mind you, which I don't think is a masterpiece but I have fun watching it), I always appreciated Jeremy Irons character getting right to the point and telling the young analyst, "Explain it to me like I'm a dog or a small child."
I'm curious what you think Trump and his family's methods are for accomplishing this. Aren't there supposed to be, like, rules about it? Maybe not for the family but for Trump?

I’d say Margin Call arguably is a masterpiece tbh
The SEC used to ostensibly enforce insider trading.
Not anymore.
Rules? Oh you sweet summer child.
Shit if you have evidence that its true, follow them. A lot of people made good money following politicians’ calls. That’s what I’m doing and I’m up 15% right now.
