Currently in the process of selling our home. We’ve already received two offers but are doing showings until tomorrow at 5. We have a four month old and it has been really hard to be continually in and out of the house because of showings. It takes a lot to get the baby ready, pack up the diaper bag, make sure the house looks good, and then load everything into the car. So when I leave, and then someone shows up 20-30 minutes late with no notice, it makes my blood boil. I also have a life. I have a young child who needs stability. It’s not ok. It’s inconsiderate and unprofessional. We’ve had 17 showings in two days, two offers, two no-shows, and 3-4 showings that showed up 20 minutes after their appointment time. We’re absolutely exhausted and over it.
People running late to showings (and not letting you know)

Yep it sucks. I’m also selling and dealt with no shows, late showings and last minute cancels. So annoying
To be fair, this is the business. People run late, change their mind. You are choosing to keep doing showings and not accept current offers.
I agree, it’s frustrating. I don’t have kids but I have a cat and a German shepherd so had to load them up etc. we even had someone bring their own dog to a showing which frustrated me. They took it inside the house (We had security cameras at the doors). And no it def wasn’t a trained service dog.
I know the feeling. We went through the exact same thing. There was one in particular that didn’t show up until a few minutes before the end of the appointment and the stayed 30+ min past just chatting with their agent about other things. This was late in the evening and getting close to our 10 month olds bed time. This was all in the showing notes, so they knew we had a kid. My agent complained to their office about that one.
Be glad you are getting that much traffic through your house.
