It’s almost like their neighbors or something… As someone who’s made a career going back and forth between the US and Canada it really is astounding how intertwined the two nations actually are. It’s not just sports but entire industries that are built on the relationship between the US and Canada. Vancouver has been nicknamed Hollywood North for a reason. Obligatory orange man bad, but the total decoupling of Canada from the US economy that is clamored for is borderline impossible and it’s probably economically more feasible to just wait out that storm for a while and let things resume as normal.

      I make pretty decent money welding hydrovac truck tank parts that a large amount of head down south. I am not sure the exact reason as I thought it would be opposite but since the tariffs our shop has been CRAZY busy. I assume they pre sold trucks before tariff pricing, or perhaps Canadas been buying more inwardly. Anyhow yeah a lot of the business our semi rural town does has to do with American interests, and tariffs in general are just shooting yourself in the foot
