During doing my due diligence on some companies listed on big European stock markets such as XETR, and others; I found i huge difference between what is officially reported by the company through earning releases in the company’s website and the data that exists in popular platforms such as ‘Trading View’. Other stock screeners don’t have better situation.

Any idea from where these platforms come up with this data (It is not possible to upload screenshots in the post)?

Infineon as example: their Q1 ’26 free cash flow is reported as -199 million, but Trading View lists it at -50 million. Other companies have the same issue too (numbers are totally off).

Has anyone else run into this? Why is this happening and how can we trust these platforms?

Why is financial data for EU stocks so inconsistent across platforms?

    1. Idk but currency different can be a difference.

E.g. company may be earning in zloty, you want to see dollar – roughly 4x difference
