Retail always feels like they're two steps ahead while institutions are trying to fold their paper hands. Every small or big movement, the imaginary line infinitely extends to support their narrative.
When retail tries to outsmart institutions, it usually works out the other way around.

Because institutions don’t have to outsmart, they just have to out-buy and out-sell which is easy for them to do.
Then the needle moves the direction they want it to. Technical analysis on bitcoin is only as useful as the institution lets it be useful until they want to carry forth their agenda. So I don’t bother and anyone wasting their time on it is just naive
